“If you want to be a member of the Demon biker gang, you’ll sure as hell go along with the initiation,” Rat Suarez issued the challenge to Isha Martinez grabbing onto her shoulders with a tight grip showing her he meant business. “Tonight, you be ready for whatever I have in store for you.”
His foul smelling breath almost made her gag. Glancing into his tattooed face, she saw he meant every word by the way his black eyes narrowed expecting her to object to what he was saying. The man made her sick to her stomach, but she couldn’t let him know how she felt.
Isha shuddered inside knowing exactly what he was implying. She would have to bed down some of the members’ of the motorcycle group. Isha wasn’t certain if she would have to sleep with either Rat or Club his right hand man. Either way, both men made her skin crawl.
She could just imagine how Rat got his name because he didn’t act any better than a scurvy rodent, but Club was a different proposition. Maybe he got his name by clubbing members of rival gangs when a fight erupted. Just the thought sent terror through her.
When she had first arrived, Isha felt a moment of fear when Rat kept studying her face. “I know you from somewhere,” he had told her. “It will come to me later.”
Isha realized Rat had a picture of her twin brother in his head and he was trying to pick up on who she resembled. He had sold her brother drugs on many occasions making him wonder why Isha looked so familiar. She hoped he never made the connection as she felt a chill race through her body over what he might do to her.
“Are you listening to me, Isha?” Rat interrupted her silent thoughts, shaking her.
“Yeah, Yeah, I heard you, I’m not deaf,” she spat back at him wondering if he’d retaliate over her using a defiant tone of voice.
“As long as you remember your place, bitch,” he slung at her before releasing his grip and moving across the dirty place they called a club house. The rank smell almost made her want to vomit, but she quickly swallowed hard to quell her now upset stomach.
How in God’s name had she ever gotten into this mess? She was asking the question, but she knew exactly how she had gotten into this horrible situation.
