Slave wages suck! But that's ok because I still managed to travel thru 22 countries in 5 years without quitting my day job. It's doable! And Renegade World Travel is about teaching you to do it for yourself.

While yes, not all accommodations will be 5-star deluxies, that’s part of the adventure that will make up the story of your life. World travel doesn't have to be big, expensive or scary... you don't even need to have someone to join you. And you definitely don't need to quit your day-job to make it happen. In Renegade World Travel I will tell you exactly what you need to do to get started on your own world travel adventures.

WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING

“Lillian’s independent spirit and love of adventure shines bright. Read this book and start packing!”
– Chris Guillebeau, Author of The $100 Startup

"The author combines her witty style, warmth and honesty to create a compelling and entertaining read, weaving a few personal experiences, while inviting the reader to feel like part of the narrative. Beautifully illustrated, you'll find lots of practical tips on money, safety, staying healthy, how to pack, how to dress (to avoid being a target) and the importance of staying connected with our loved ones. At times I found myself both dreaming and laughing while reading this book.

I agree with her "Planning-on-the-Fly" strategy. Trying to plan and book everything in advance can be costly in terms of money and stress and leaves little room for spontaneity.

Whether you're an arm chair traveler, occasional tourist or wish to become a digital nomad you'll find plenty of tips, motivation and inspiration for the journey in this book."
– Bev Seabrook

"Gosh, this book is brilliant bold and hilarious! It's incredible! lots of travel Guides are so vague but this is sooo relevant and fun to read!"
– Shannon Meehan

"This book was so .... inspiring (...) I think it talks to the adventurer inside all of us that yearns for more. It opened my eyes to a new way to travel and experience the world, offering a unique perspective on the world and the wonders within it. I will be using some of the tips I learned in this books as I set out on my next adventure."

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I was living the quiet life of an environmental engineer in Orlando, Florida. I dreamed of traveling the world for many years, but always stopped short because I believed that I didn’t have the money, time or right person to join me. One day I realized that if I kept living this way, then I would never achieve my world travel dreams. With this realization, I took the leap, kept my day job, and went traveling alone. What I discovered was a fantastically curious new life – one where I never know exactly what unbelievable adventure will fall upon me from day-to-day. As for my “World Travel CV”, to date I have traveled to 20+ countries, mostly as a solo traveler through the developing world.
