Rell Jerv grew up in the dangerous streets of Wilmington, De. In this city, its highly likely for an African-American male to get involved in violence, get killed, or go to prison. But, Rell was an exception to the rule. He grew up in the streets but refused to belong to the streets. Rell dreamed to play in the NBA. That dream was shattered when he injured his knee and couldnt play anymore. While recovering, he discovered a talent that was camouflaged behind a basketball. He began to write music.
