Reflections of the Heater: A Memoir

At seven-teen years old, Janis encounters a very trying time in her life. Her mother is sick with a packed gallbladder which is what the doctor told her. But that is not all. After they went in to remove the gallbladder they found a of cancere in her mother's abdomen. Janis became her mother's caretaker at a young age and she was there morning and night trying to do her best. She kept her faith in God and that was how she knew she was  making it through the tough trials that awaited her through her mother's sickness. But she wants other teens to know that losing a parent doesn't mean it's the end of your life. We must still keep going and search for what it is God has for our lives. It's something great, so never stop searching.
