I am writing to all of you who have a bottomless void that, no matter what, won’t stay full for more than a night. I am writing to all of you who crave a life of adventure, but only dream it and can’t quite make it to the living it out part. I am writing to all of you who have never spoken up and have always followed the leader blindlessly into a conformed world. I am writing to all of you who have been victimized by identity theft. I am writing to all of you who have felt a stirring deep deep deep deep deep deep deep down in your soul and can’t quite put your finger on it. I am writing to all of you who are alone, because I want you to know that you aren’t actually alone. I am writing to all of you who have been chasing happiness to a dead end. I am writing to all of you who can’t seem to get enough of what they don’t need.

I am only 18. Authors are typically older. Not me. I wanted to reach my fellow teenagers around the world and show you all that you can conquer the quest of Faith. You are not too young and you do not need the resources adulthood brings. You don’t need to perfect yourself before you run into God’s arms. You don’t have to change, God is ready to craft you, right here, right now. You don’t have to get Him quite yet, He wants to reveal Himself to you over the course of your wonderful life. You don’t even have to like Him; you can be mad. Life is crap a lot of the time. You want answers. I get it. I’m here with you. But you can have faith. Our God is real. He is waiting for you to say…

“Ok God, I’m as ready as I’ll ever be. Let’s get at it and get to know each other. No more half in, half out.”

And so may God lead the way. May God speak to you and may you get to know Him a tad more each and every day. I love you. I do.

With love and excitement,

Rachel
