Psalms from the Heart

This is a collection of poetry, reflections, and inspirational writings that portray a variety of emotions and experiences common to the human experience. In the pages you will find poems about joy, love, awe, sorrow, heartache, pain, encouragement, faith, family and relationships. Many of the poems are of a spiritual nature and some are reflections about life and its challenges including current events that have impacted our lives and culture; some will inspire you and others will challenge you. This collection of poems and inspirational prose and reflections was written over many years from high school through adult life and are arranged in no particular order. The author intended them this way because our life experiences and emotions we feel come in no particular order because life is a continuous flow of experiences that are diverse and ever-changing. The author’s hope is that as you read the words you will feel a connection with some of the experiences and emotions that you have felt in your own life and realize that you are not alone in whatever you go through and God is always with you.
