Prince of Terrastar

Dakota Morgan is 12 years old. He grew up in San Diego, CA, with his adoptive mother, Anna, who is a respected archeologist. School is out for the summer, but instead of surfing and sailing on San Diego Bay, Dakota learns he has to accompany his mother to Mt. Shasta, CA, where strange crystals with ancient hieroglyphics were recently unearthed.
Dakota and Anna soon find themselves caught up in a top secret mission run by a covert government agency. Fearing that their unwilling participation could cost them their freedom, Dakota and Anna secretly work to decipher the ancient symbols and reveal their connection to the mysterious government agency. Their efforts pay off and they soon find themselves aligned with a secret society that few people know exists. They learn the truth about the government’s mission, as well as Dakota’s true identity.
