The book starts by introducing shapes in both English and German building them into an object for your child to guess. The activities following aim to help your child become more aware of shapes by looking for them in fun illustrations and to encourage discussion between you and your child. The last pages illustrate for your child that shapes are everywhere and suggest ways for you to continue developing their awareness. This teaching method aims to encourage parent participation in children's education because parents are the first and foremost educators of their children.

What's covered? Basic shapes: squares, rectangles, triangles and circles. Colours: yellow, orange, green, purple, blue, black, red. Numbers 1 to 5. More shapes to look for. All in both English and German.

The English German bilingual children's series of books aim to assist parents teaching early learning concepts. Each presents a part of the Preschool/Kindergarten curriculum with the English language and the German language shown together to assist with foreign language learning. Bilingual education helps to reinforce learning and develop the two languages at the same time.
