Preparing Your Child for Kindergarten

What can I do to prepare my child for kindergarten? Every parent asks themselves this question when the reality of kindergarten is approaching. In kindergarten your child will develop skills in many areas. You can help them prepare for this new adventure in learning using the activities and tips in this book.

Going through this book you’ll find that you may be doing many of these activities with your child already. Go through the activities and select a few new ones to introduce to your child. You’ll want to place emphasis on trying a new activity and not mastering the skill. By reinforcing that you can learn by playing, you’ll show your child how fun learning really is.

This book is broken down into eight subjects. In each subject there are activities and ideas to give your child a head start on kindergarten. I’ve collected this information through personal experience preparing two children for kindergarten.
