Mentioning James’ name caused an irritation in Emilie’s stomach…she moved her arms across the desk as she wallowed in thoughts how the circumstances would unfold for James under the detention of the immigration police. “I only wished to have one last moment with him Jane.” She could almost tear up as the words bleated out of her mouth. Janette could clearly see that Emilie was confused…very confused…
“I can do you a little favor…secretly you know…Mark mustn’t know I did this but it will cost you something all the same…” she stared at Emilie with eyes that spoke bribe…
“How much are we looking at Jane?” She hoped Janette doesn’t take advantage of the fact that unlike her she didn’t have any responsibilities on her shoulders but she would pay whatever she will mention to save her love…her sweetie James.
“I’ll get you out of here I promise sweetheart…” She pressed against the rods that stood in between them… he rubbed a gentle hand over her pink, wet, and soft chick across the spaces of the metal cell.
“We’ll be fine my love…I need you to be strong…at least for me okay?” James forced himself with the hard voice hoping she will smartly cheer up… she twisted his shirt with a strong grip and pulled him closer to the bars…to her and she zoomed her slender face halfway through the little space in between, James reciprocated and they munched each others lips tearfully between those bars that separated their worlds…”I want you to always remember that I’ll always love you.” He whispered over her lips smoothly.
Janette popped out of the dark and hurried towards Emilie in impatience and guilty fright.
“Here you go…please hurry up Emmy.” She threw the bundle of keys at Emilie and inspected the corridors… Emilie started hurriedly with the first and it didn’t work…James focused his dark and determined gaze on how she was handling the keys and panicking on the lock and crying silently.
“Do you have any contingencies Emmy?” He asked as he held her trembling hands…She paused for a brief moment and forced to retry another key…
“I don’t want to live my life without you James…You have to get out of here now…” she groaned subtly…She couldn’t help the fact that he was going to deport James and all that they had shared for the last two months…
“Hurry we don’t have time Emmy…what are you doing?” Janette mumbled angrily…she could hear tentative footsteps from the corridors but she couldn’t see anyone coming…
Her perception of the guards was very somber and she didn’t even realize inspector Eric was standing just by her at very close range…
