There is no doubt that the women in Iran enjoy better rights than the Muslim women in most of the Arabian countries. Iranian women have been historically very active members of the Iranian society.

The historical records suggest that the women in Persia had almost equal rights and they were equally involved in politics, education, and social acts as men.

After the Islamic Revolution some of their rights were repealed but they are still very actively showing their presence in the field of education, arts, politcs, and industry. In the field of education, the participation of women is much more than men in Iran.
