MUD. MAYHEM. LAUGHTER abound in this funny story of the two Irish children, Pat and Barbara who were given the task of cleaning out a pigsty, where Porgy and Bess, their two pigs lived.

When Pat tries to help Barbara lift a heavy feed bucket over the wall of the pigsty, he leaves the gate open. Wily Bess escapes and lumbers onto the main road of their village. In a panicked state, Pat and Barbara chase the errant pig through the village. In the process, both the pig and the children cause misadventures and grief to the townsfolk. The kids finally corner the pig in a pub, much to the amusement of the pub patrons. Help for their plight comes from an unexpected quarter and the kids get their pig safely home just before their Mum and Dad arrive to inspect their work on the pigsty.

The story makes great bedtime reading. It is also good for children who like to read independently and who enjoy comic antics of kids their own age. It reminds parents and grandparents of their nostalgic childhood when life was simpler. If you or your family like kid’s funny stories and simple adventurous tales, then this is the book for you.

Join the two kids on their eventful journey today. Download the book and enjoy their escapades.
