Persuasion by Jane Austen (1775-1817) was the authors last completed novel which was published after her death in (1818). Jane was considered to be one of the greatest female romance novelists of all time with Pride and Prejudice being her most popular novel and one of the most famous novels in English literature. Persuasion is a about a love story and the main character is Anne Elliot, a 19 year old who is forced by her family to break off her engagement with the handsome officer Frederick Wentworth due to his poor economic status. Years later, both still unmarried Frederick returns from the Napoleonic war as a wealthy man and finds it difficult to forgive Anne for rejecting his marriage proposal.
