This is a speculative fiction based on some of the apocryphal alien stories that have emerged over the years. Whether true or not depends on how close to the loop of ultra classified intelligence one is. In this case a foreign aid worker has disappeared for a quarter-century and presumed dead. He reappears and is wanted by authorities. He reconnects with two ex-girl friends who seem to compete for his attention, but also get drawn into the vortex of his circumstances. The question is not just who he is, or whether he is a threat, but rather his personal dilemma. Does he reveal to the world what he knows about the universe and alien life, or is such knowledge, if true, pose a deeper threat to the balance of power on earth? As well, he has a son he never knew, and a daughter he brought with him - an apparent hybrid of human and alien. All this bears down on him as the noose tightens around him. Earth may not be ready for what he has to offer, and various powers would kill to get what he knows.
