Paper Has No Eyes is the first published fictional effort of Michael Tankle. Tankle has previously published and presented papers at technical conferences as well as authoring a series of programming tutorials in professional computer magazines.

The poems, verses and fables in this collection were written over thirty years ago. Now, many years later, Michael has decided to share this emotional collection with others.

Contained within are one or two line zingers, "epic" tales, and a couple of songs, as well as classic and contemporary poetry reflecting on a range of emotions: friendship, loneliness, love and unrequited relationships.

From the very first verse in the collection, you will be intrigued by Michael's unique style. He plays with the rhythm and the meaning of words to create visually mesmerizing verses that pull you in:

You've ruined it all you know.
Mine was such an easy world.
A void;
Cold,
Dark,
A lonely hell.
Then you and I
Bumped into each other;
And the lights came on,
And the heater kicked over,
And there were people around,
And I learned how to live;
And love.
Damn you.
And bless you.

If you ever were in love, thought you were in love, or wanted to be in love, then you're going to love Michael Tankle's Paper Has No Eyes.
