Retired Detective Neville Turner who is living with PTSD begins having dreams about the Cold Case murders he previously investigated. He soon realizes that the dreams are in fact visions of new murders recreating fifty year old unsolved cold cases and that the new murders are happening when he has the dreams. When Neville goes to the crime scene to tell the detectives of the link to the cold case, he becomes a suspect. Linda Dillen, in charge of the investigation, upon learning of the Cold Case link immediately suspects a police insider is responsible and Turner becomes a suspect. There are many theories and scenarios that are explored. Could there be a single killer who was only young when the original murders occurred and who, in their senior years has had the urge to kill return? Are we dealing with generations of killers, possibly a new generation honoring their father or grandfather's earlier work? Or could some other sinister motive be at work?

What follows is a fast moving, tension filled case that has so many twist and turns. The roller coaster story line leads detectives to discover high level corruption involving a sect with links to Greek Mythological characters. The dedicated and determined investigation team, led by Dillen, navigate their way through a series of difficult challenges that threaten to tear her team apart. All this leads to a final conclusion that no one will see coming.
