Lounging back on the pillows, I saw my reflection in the mirror over the dresser, and I looked ready to pounce. He walked in a few minutes later and looked at me with a smile crossing over each side of his face.
He closed the door, turning the lock so that nobody could interrupt us, and then began to take his clothes off, until he was standing there with only a pair of black bikini briefs on.
“I’m sorry that we haven't been able to get together, but this investigation has been keeping us on our toes, but I think I just needed to see you.”
I had never had anybody say that to me, and his need for me was not unwanted. “Are you sure that you are not upset about anything, and perhaps you want to talk about that big bombshell that you dropped a week ago?”
“I suppose I was feeling a little bit insecure, because most women when they find out that I have money only date me because of it.”
He was starting to make me a little angry, thinking that I was anything like that type of person was an insult to me and to our relationship.
“Deep down, I think I know that you are not like that, and I think that I'm more afraid that you are going to leave me. If I could make it so that you never did, I would gladly give up my entire fortune to be with you.”
