Packing for the Journey!

The My Sister’s Keeper is a sisterhood that was birthed from a place of pain, a need and depression. It started with a simple email to 12 sisters on January 19, 2010. The introduction went like this…. Hello my sisters… Each of you dropped into my spirit today to the point that it’s almost overwhelming! I just spoke with three sisters within 10 minutes of each other and each sister is dealing with a form of depression! I don’t know what to do and I don’t always know what to say....I just know that I have to do something. I feel like each of you have been placed in my heart for a reason.....some of you may be struggling with this issue while others may have gone thru the storm and may be able to reach out to another sister in need! Some of you know each other and some don’t. BUT I don’t think THAT makes a difference at this time! Either way – I’m reaching out to you It is weighing on me so heavy I feel like I can burst into tears right here at my desk! Please don’t get me wrong- this group is not suppose to replace any ministry that you are already part of.....it is to work in CONJUNCTION with the ministry you are already a part of! I will keep you in prayer because after all...I truly Believe that “WE ARE OUR SISTER’S KEEPER!” From that day…MY Sister’s Keeper was born. I now share with you the words of encouragement that God has given me to share with the sisters over the last 6 years.
