Explanations – Daily Heroes – NO 518 – Over a Cup of Tea – 12th of April 2016.
Mrs Berenberger looked at her watch.
It was 5 minutes to 2:00 pm.
She expected that someone should be on time. It is a quality that she asked of the people she would choose for her group of charity causes.
But at 3 minutes to 2:00 pm, Mrs Corwin ran the bell.
Mrs Berenberger appreciated that. She was not too much in advance and she would not be late.
She welcomed her warmly. She had high esteem for her colleagues and she chose them well. She had her get in the living room guided by Monika.
She looked at Mrs Corwin and she liked what she saw. She was in her thirties. She had a pleasant smile and a harmonious body. She looked balanced.
Her conversation would prove her or not to be right.
But it did not take her long to distinguish the quality of that person.
She smiled to Monika who understood that Mrs Berenberger wanted to have the tea and little sandwiches in about 15 minutes.
Mrs Berenberger questioned Mrs Corwin about her life, family, and interests.
Mrs Corwin had a way to speak of all in a manner that made it a pleasure to speak with her.
She spoke of her niece looking for a job.
She was to meet with Mrs Berenberger the next day to take care of her daughter who was handicapped.
Mrs Berenger liked her immediately.
Cathy and Karuna became as sisters.
