Our Love Story

by Eleanor Ragaza Caldwell

Our Love Story is about a love that is unique and special. It is a story of finding true love and a second chance at happiness, a story of two hearts lonely for a long time until fate brings them together in their later years. It is a story that transcends the barriers of race, culture and time, a story of love woven in the midst of intrigue but coming out unscathed.

A man and a woman are touched by miracles of faith, allowing readers to understand the inspiring story of how they met, and of how the mysterious ways of God brought them together in love and marriage. It is a story of true love and devotion, written to show that such things exist even in our world of changing values.

About the Author

Eleanor Ragaza Caldwell was born and educated in the Philippines. She has a law degree from the University of Santo Thomas in Manila. She married her first husband early in life while pursuing her degree. Her first marriage was short-lived. She lost her husband to death, leaving her with a three-year-old daughter and a one-year-old son.

As a lawyer, the author’s first job was with the agrarian reform movement of the government, at that time considered to be its cornerstone program. She worked for the Philippine Department of Agrarian Reform and wrote a book entitled, Our Land Reform, Its Legal Perspective which is the first book written on land reform written during the martial law regime, discussing the legal intricacies of the program.

The author moved on to the Philippine Department of Justice and became a criminal defense lawyer handling the defense of indigent accused.

She immigrated to the U.S. for family reunification and became a U.S. citizen. She then married her second husband, Kenneth Caldwell, born in England, but likewise, a U.S. citizen. They currently live in Centreville, Virginia.
