Reginald Bryan Kelso a well known former Detective Sergeant of Police and now an equally well known and respected Private Investigator operating from the city of Toowoomba, Queensland, is retained by a Melbourne nightclub owner to locate his adolescence daughter who absconded from their palatial Bayside home in Melbourne to somewhere in the vicinity of Cairns, North Queensland. Changes of life move with the speed of sound and caring parents suddenly find themselves left behind in the wake of present day facts that young people encounter day after day.
