How did I get started on my mission to help people rid themselves of this scourge of high blood pressure and ill health, leading inexorably to heart attacks and strokes?
Well, it started with a small shock when my brother was diagnosed with high blood pressure in his early thirties. Now, the good news is that by changing his diet, especially reducing his salt intake, he was able to get his blood pressure back to normal in a few months, however the initial diagnosis was a shock and it stuck in my mind. Then; just over ten years ago, my father had a heart attack, which he thankfully recovered from, and which again led to him altering his diet with positive results. These events crystallized in my mind the connection between health and nutrition and lifestyle. I started to do research, changed my diet and improved my health. At 45 I can do 90 press-ups without pause and weigh the same as i did in my mid 20s. I have shown friends how they can improve their health and wellbeing with great results and want to reach as many people as possible with this life changing information.
More recently, during my research, I learned of the essential role of Nitric Oxide in human health (human life is not possible without Nitric Oxide), which led me on to understanding the power of l-arginine, a precursor in Nitric Oxide production, which helps to reduce heart disease as well as helping the body to release important hormones, increase lean muscle, speed wound recovery and boost the immune system.
In this book I am going to give you an overview of what high blood pressure is, what causes it, who suffers from it; and why in nearly all cases it can be defeated by making simple changes to the way you live your life. Nowadays, there is a push to attribute almost all illness to viruses or your genes. Whilst these are factors in some illnesses, in most cases of chronic or degenerative illness it’s all about lifestyle and nutrition. In this book you are going to hear from people who have transformed their lives by overcoming ill health…the natural way.
This guide is the culmination of my many years of research which have revealed the path to defeating high blood pressure and living a life of vitality and wellbeing.
