Night Ride

Riding a bicycle is such a part of the American way of live that is not surprising to see bike lanes alongside the roads of our towns. From the old "Paperboy Special" type up to the serious racing bicycles you see them in the garages and on the roads in our cities and towns. As exercise, it is more costly than walking and running but is often the exercise of choice.

So it is in our story here. In Arizona summers leaving early...sometimes as early as four in the morning...a good ride can get you home for breakfast and in time for work. What you encounter along the ride can be colorful sunrises, light traffic and runners. On this day, our protagonist hero finds much more. A life changing event totally unexpected. This day he is late to work.
