Albertina Leonard also known as Tina was born to the late Cora and Albert Grimes Jr. She is a woman born to motivate others. Though she comes from a humble beginning, she has worked hard to achieve all her success. She faced many adversities growing up in Washington, District of Columbia, and decided to make a difference by helping teens and women who have been through the same if not worse hardships. She has worked in the construction field, as an accountant, for over twenty years. She runs a successful consulting business and is the founder of the Tina Leonard Foundation Inc., which is an advocate for domestic violence, teen pregnancy, obesity awareness, bullying, and mentoring. Her mission is to heal thru awareness. She is a domestic violence survivor, she is an Advocate to Help End Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Child abuse. She is responsible for mentoring and motivating students, her family members, singers, authors, entrepreneurs, and the like. She is a mother, sister, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and now author. She has every intention of continuing to expand her motivational work to help as many people as she can. She now resides in Accokeek, Maryland.
