In the early 1960s the Provenzano brothers held complete control of Teamsters Local 560 in Hoboken, New Jersey. Several dissident Teamsters were murdered at the time. Provenzano was tried and convicted of one of the killings in 1976. The Provenzanos, Anthony "Tony Pro", Nunzio "Nunzi Pro" and Salvatore used the Local's money indiscriminately for their own pleasure. Masquerading as one of the guys, Tony Pro owned a sumptuous home with an above ground swimming pool. He also enjoyed the comforts of a condo he mairtianed in Florida. Walter Glockner was one of several murdered Teamsters. A shop steward and driver for Dorn Transportation in North Bergen, New Jersey, he was shot three time in the back as he was leaving for work one morning in 1963.
