Mr Nobody is a mythical character that seems to live in every house! When shoes are left out, clothes are dropped on the floor and toys are not picked up, nobody seems to want to own up to leaving them lying around and nobody wants to pick them up. The mother in this story is constantly asking her family to keep the house tidy, but they can’t be bothered. So she says that Mr. Nobody must live in the house with them. The children in the story start realizing all the things they do which cause a mess and agree with their mother that Mr. Nobody does live with them. Surely all the mess around the place cannot belong to them! In the end the children get involved with keeping the house clean and realise the responsibilities they have to keep their things tidy. Poor Mr. Nobody eventually leaves because there is nothing left for him to do!
