“…she saw Carrie Anne come in the door. Mel waved at her, getting her attention, admiring her as she strolled towards her with a smile. Carrie Anne slid into the booth opposite Mel and smiled brightly at her.
“I was a little surprised when you asked to meet, Melanie. Collusion between competitors and all that,” she giggled.
“I promise not to reveal any company secrets, Carrie Anne. I just wanted to… Oh, hell! I wanted to know more about your… Ankle bracelet?” grinned Melanie shyly. “This job, with all the travel, can be murderous on a relationship. And, I admit, mine’s a little rocky right now. You seem to have it all together somehow.”
“What’s going on, Mel? Is it your husband? Or, is it, maybe, you?” hinted Carrie Anne. Her voice a soft whisper.
As the two of them talked, ordering refill after refill, Melanie revealed the whole story. From her customer’s requested ‘incentives’ to Rob’s infidelity. Without mentioning any names businesswise, Carrie Anne was still able to get a good grasp of Mel’s current frazzled state of mind. She, in turn, told Mel a bit about her own situation. Her story, turning out to be not all that much different. Her decision to become a ‘hot wife,’ a direct result of all of it. Luckily, in her case, her husband really got off on the idea of Carrie Anne messing around. He loved ‘reclaiming’ her whenever she’d been naughty! And, she did like to be naughty!
About two hours later, their waitress asked if the two of them were staying at the hotel? Mel looked at her strangely, “Why does that matter?” she asked.
“Well, if either of you are planning on driving tonight, I’ve been ordered to cut you off,” the girl replied shyly.
OMG! Just how many drinks had they had tonight? Apparently, quite a few! They assured their waitress that they were both staying at the hotel, placing an order for another round as they did. Then, the two of them looked at each other and guiltily started giggling uncontrollably!
When they left the bar together, they were both more than a little tipsy. Melanie looked deeply into Carrie Anne’s eyes as they said goodnight. It seemed so natural. She rose up on tiptoes and kissed her. Carrie Anne’s lips soft against hers. She wasn’t even shocked as her mouth opened and their two tongues began to duel passionately. “Your room, or mine?” purred Carrie Anne breathlessly.”
