Misspent Youth

Sarah Patrick is a beautiful, smart young woman with everything going for her. She finds this cookie-cutter life atrociously boring. When she accidently swears in class, her teacher punishes her with detention, where she meets bad-boy Travis "Spin" Spinnet. Through spending the hours in detention with each other, they find that the walls they had built up around themselves and the stereotypes they'd created were entirely wrong, and that the two teenagers had a lot in common. Sarah and Spin become friends, tearing Sarah away from her popular posse who simply doesn't understand. Despite the loss of these friends, she is finally happy with her life. Everything is thrown into a whirlwind of chaos and despair when secrets from her past are revealed. Her new life crumbles in front of her, until she is left with a lifeless shell of an existence stained with drugs, sex, insanity...and death.
