Miracle Happened

It is seventy years in the future when the Compass Party reigns, and the U.S. Constitution has since been done away with. Miracle isn't supposed to exist, but she doesn’t know that and neither do her brothers and sisters. Once learning the truth of their existence, curiosity overwhelms Miracle, and she goes beyond the only home and property she has ever known giving into her temptation, searching beyond the trees to a place with giant buildings and strange people. She finds herself in danger but a stranger guides her to safety. Yet her actions have jeopardized her mother’s secrets. Six secret lives. Miracle cannot pretend to believe in all that she has ever known. There is an evil that has presented itself--one that has been sheltered from her all of her life, but now she must confront that evil. With the help from the stranger and his father she and her family seek refuge and freedom as more threats surround them placing them in greater danger.
