Memoirs of an Undercover Angel
Book 1: Body

The ‘Body’ has been demonised throughout history, but as a proud gay man Jack is about to claim it back!

1st Scroll: Rouge is grounded in the themes of sexuality, and coming out. Meet Jack Lamb, a young man in the throes of falling in love, but Jack must first embrace this new life or return to the ‘closet.’ Hopes and expectations are dashed during a dance party, as Jack learns the true meaning of Salvation, surrounded by all God’s beautiful Angels – and horny little Devils.

2nd Scroll: Orange covers themes of suicide and loss, regrets and fantasy. Jack learns of a family tragedy, and Carlos his ex-boyfriend is put behind bars. In desperation Jack contemplates suicide, before his younger sister comes to the rescue. A debaucherous ‘hen’s’ night out only fuels Jack’s repressed high school fantasies.

Memoirs of an Undercover Angel is a work of fiction, based largely on the author’s personal experiences, and written from a gay Christian perspective. The story encompasses issues and incidents that many gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) people will experience in their quest for selfhood, acceptance, spiritual peace and personal harmony. The quest is never an easy journey, but it is ultimately rewarding.
