Maxwell Stauros in The Politician's Keeper

In a futuristic San Francisco, ex- District Attorney turned Private eye, Maxwell Stauros get the case that changes his life. The woman being blackmailed is Juliette Holmes, a rich high class lady. Her blackmailer is a no good Editor in Chief of a gossip website. Maxwell discovers that not all those tears she cried in his office were for real. The case turns sour when Maxwell's mentor, and long time district attorney Harold Gimby takes an interest in the case. As things turn out, there may be high ranking city officials in that blackmail photo. And they don't want the photo getting out either, and will do anything to safe their lifestyle.

Maxwell Stauros is a fun and comical adventure into the gritty noir landscape of a future San Francisco. Death and mystery lurk around every corner as friends become enemies, and enemies become friends, and the life of a beautiful woman hangs in the balance.
