Max is a little boy who loves to drive his little tractor to the bottom of Grandad’s garden, he calls this part of the garden 'The Woods’. One day, Max takes his tractor to the 'woods’ at the bottom of Grandad’s garden as he always does and he makes a new friend, called Mole. Max finds out that Mole is 'The Keeper of the Gate’. Max is curious to find out more about this mysterious gate and asks Mole what is behind the gate. After a bit of persuasion and making sure Max can keep a secret of course, Mole agrees to tell Max where the gate leads to. To Max’s astonishment, he finds out it leads to Dinosaur Island, a land full of dinosaurs, where nobody has ever been, other than Mole of course. Straight away, Max is determined to go there and begs Mole to take him to Dinosaur Island. Mole has to make sure that Max genuinely wants to be his friend. Mole agrees and they embark on a big adventure where Max makes many new friends and some enemies too! Together with their new found friends they must look after each other through many obstacles as Dinosaur Island can be a scary place. Max must be home in time for dinner with his grandad, will he make it? Read on to find out.
