Masters of Illusion: Castle Nightmare

An evil cabal threatens humanity. Powerful nations are brought to their knees thanks to leaders who only pretend to do the will of the people. Treaties are signed with the promise of increased prosperity, but no one reads the treaty. The cost of education rises while jobs disappear, leaving an indebted population begging for help. A few received that help by working in labs creating viruses to be unleashed upon the world at the proper time. Others added chemicals to the drinking water that suppressed the public's will to resist, and some joined robotics firms that intended to make humans obsolete. Many served the New World Order well, taking no thought of what would happen after they too became useless. Luckily, Max Alwell and his friends defeated the globalists. Humanity became content, and there was plenty for all. But everything changed when Max mysteriously awakened as a drone in service to the elite. Can he escape his new prison, or have "they" beaten him at last?
