Mary Jordan has had a long, full life, but she misses her husband Louis, who is now gone. At 84, hardship has fallen upon her but through her creativity she finds a way to enjoy life again.

When asked to write an inspirational article for a magazine, Jennie develops writer's block. So what do you do when you have writer's block? She decides to clean her attic. Who would have thought that she would find inspiration there?

After being diagnosed with chronic mylogenous leukemia, Angela doesn't wait for the doctor's prognosis. Instead she flees town and takes a vacation. As life would have it, she meets someone and falls in love. Afraid to tell him of her diagnosis, she flees again. But he doesn't give up that easily, nor does her boss. Angela learns that the answer is not running away from life.
