Fruits are indispensable part of the food, whatever, whenever and where so ever you eat, fruits are a part of all meals. People eat fruits in breakfast, after all meals, in between meals or individually as meals. Mango is the king of all fruits; it is all time favourite and loved by all.

It can be consumed in various forms. It can be used to prepare juices, squashes, as vegetables, in rice dishes, in desserts, sweets. It is versatile and is relished in all forms. As the mango season is at its peak, I as a nutritionist knowing the health value was gifted with an idea to write on the various uses, so that the rich fruit can be consumed in one way or the other through out the season. It is a rich source of Vitamin A, C and B complex. It has many other nutrients in small amounts and hence is considered a complete fruit. In Asian countries, where the cultivation of mangoes is the highest, people are so fond of it that they have chapattis and rice with just mango pieces or mango juice and still feel that they had partied hard. In Asian countries especially India, for the entire period when the fruit is available, it is consumed in any form is a part of major 2 meals.
