Magnet For Murder

After retired ex cop Chance Colter gets a call from another ex cop buddy to help manage his bar and restaurant in Key West Florida, Colter gladly abandons the miserable winter in Minneapolis; but soon after his arrival, Colter's new business partner is found brutally murdered in his office. With the mysterious death of his partner, Mike Partanza, Colter finds himself in an epic struggle with Mike's Italian Mafia relatives in Miami for ownership of the Yellow Parrot Restaurant and Bar in Key West. But the Miami branch of the family competes with the New York branch for overall control of their sprawling criminal enterprise. When the Miami patriarch suddenly dies, the two branches of the family are at war in Miami for its lucrative illegal businesses. Colter finds himself caught up in their battle with the Yellow Parrot as a pawn. his survival depends on using all his twenty years of police detective experience to thwart their attacks.
