Eddie Bowen is mainly known on the West Coast as lead guitarist, back up vocalist and a songwriter for The Weeds and The Lollipop Shoppe. He was also lead singer, guitarist and songwriter for the I Need the Savior album completed in 1989 by Ed Bowen and Freedom. Eddie’s first album was with Uni Records (MCA) titled Just Colour by The Lollipop Shoppe. He also has three singles; “It’s Your Time” on Teenbeat Records, “No Good News” on the NWI label and “I Need the Savior” on the Freedom label. In addition to music performance, Eddie is co-founder of Freedom Guitar music stores which he opened along with the late Fred Cole, lead singer from The Lollipop Shoppe and of Dead Moon fame. Eddie now lives in Atlanta, Georgia, his birth state. He continues to write song lyrics, poetry and does occasional performances
This Anthology is a complete combination of Eddie’s first two books, and all selections are presented here in four chapters: Love, Reverence, High Esteem and Perceptions & Ambitions. All of these lyrics and poems have remained unpublished in one unique collection until now. There are forty-six separate pieces for you to enjoy.
