Lydia

The night her parents were killed in a home invasion, Lydia heard only voices, not enough to identify the killers but enough to give her recurrent nightmares of sinister, disembodied voices against a black backdrop. Determined to end the nightmares once and for all, Lydia returns to Stanton six years later, where she unwittingly poses a threat to a local resident who knows she can identify him if she ever hears his voice. When she suffers a concussion that reverses the nightmares, silencing the voices but giving faces to the killers, she uses her skills as an artist to bring her parents' murderers to justice, one at a time. Desired by two men, Lydia must now decide between Nick, the cattle rancher who has loved her since she was sixteen, and Eddy, the man who saves her life.
