This amazing collection of candid “love letters,” written by the devoted Lauralee to her absent husband, detailing her erotic experiences while he is away, sheds provocative light on the “mod” concept of wedded bliss. The letters were given to me by Lauralee and her husband, with the thought that their publication may help other couples, temporarily separated by distance, to achieve an agreeable marital adjustment. I have selected the most representative letters from the huge stack, deleting only a few that dealt with routine household matters, and here present them just as the lovely, lively, young Lauralee wrote them, with a minimum of editing.
