Loose Ends

Matthew Draycott, a twenty-four-year-old manager of a furniture and electrical warehouse, sees an image reflected in the clouds above his mother’s house. The image is of a boat sailing on the canal. He is about to travel to Jersey on a boat and could the image be an omen warning him not to travel to Jersey. If he had known what affect his journey to Jersey would have on his life, he would not have gone.
