After losing their parents in a car accident, orphaned brothers Kevin and Bobby Dalton are taken in by their God-fearing, hard-working grandparents, who raise them for a life on the farm. While operating a combine harvester in the cornfield, Kevin stirs up a small swarm of locusts, and in an abnormal act of aggression, the large insects attack him like angry bees.
