This book is the real life story of the two nightmares, which my wife and I have endured. While many people unfortunately have to combat cancer in their lifetimes, I sincerely doubt that they also are forced to deal with the injustices inherent in the United States legal system. I truly believe that during my lifetime many types of cancers will be cured. My wife and I have witnessed so much progress in the war against cancer during the past six years at MD Anderson, especially with respect to their Moon Shot program.
As for achieving justice in the United States legal system, I am not quite as optimistic. What I have experienced during the past three years is so extraordinary that if I hadn't personally lived through it myself, I would not believe it. Under our current legal system, it is possible for a well-educated yet evil person to cause a great deal of emotional and financial stress to many innocent people. This book exposes some of the numerous crimes, which a vexatious litigant can commit without incurring adverse consequences. My hope is that because of this publication some improvements will be made to an extremely unfair and even dangerous system.
