Living Through Their Dreams

As a child, Pamela grows up in a constant state of self-doubt, struggling to find acceptance from the people she loves mosther parents, who longed for a son and got Pamela instead. She works and trains hard to become a professional boxerher mothers dream for her. And by the age of twenty-two, she is beginning to establish herself in the world of boxing, in spite of the roadblocks she faces due to her gender. Even more importantly, her parents are proud of her. But when Pamela stumbles, things start to go wrong, and she finds herself facing trauma after trauma. Her internal conflict overwhelms her and diverts her from her dreams away from the ring. As she struggles to resolve the conflicts festering within her, only time will tell if shell be able to find her way back to hope and a new future. In this novella, a woman reaching for her dream must learn to accept and believe in herself in order to find her way.
