Living in Paradise

The small farm nestled against Bear Hill caught their eyes. Situated on the crest of a small knoll, with gently sloping fields on either side, it truly was spectacular. So, when Heather and her husband bought this idyllic property in British Columbia, they were thrilled. Little did they know they had embarked on an adventure beyond their wildest dreams. When life took an unexpected turn Heather learned to harvest kiwis, assist Alpacas in labour, capture animals on the loose and transport flowers to market. Under her guidance the farm soon became a destination for visitors, school children spilled from buses, families purchase produce on the weekends, goods were entered in the Saanich Fair and eventually the art of driving the anchient tractor was mastered. Living in Paradise takes you onto an organic farm so can join in the activities and adventures - without putting on your boots!
