Cassandra had made a decision. She would follow her heart. Her head confirmed what her heart was telling her. Go home. Go home and claim your man! She didn’t know whether he felt the same about her but it was worth a try. Switching careers from being a Doctor to a Shopkeeper would be a bit of a challenge. But she was willing to take the chance and try. After so many years the townsfolk would not even recognize or remember her. Well they didn’t recognize her. She had changed over the years. The moment Duke set eyes on her and their eyes met he knew it was her. And he was so in love with her. That had not changed over the years. But he had never told her how he felt. And he had to. He had to let her know. Duke had his chance to tell her how he felt. But he messed it up so badly. Would they have their chance? Cassandra had the perfect opportunity to get to know the family.
