This delightful Fable illustrates the intimate relationship between doubt and hope. As well, it shows the powerful role love plays in conquering fear. We want our loved ones, most significantly our children, to have hope, yet often we forget to support explorations of their worries and terrors- the very places from which hope springs. This Fable subtly reveals how strength of will emerges from successful battles with personal witches, warlords...the places that hold our fears. When we deeply know that accepting our doubts enlivens our hope, which then renders things possible, I can and I will, breeds success.
