LIFE IN FIVE is a collection of dramatic flash fiction that focuses on family, bond, and faith.

The first is “Strangers”. As a shaman, Kuri’s duty is to protect her people, but when her mother murders an innocent woman, Kuri’s morals are tested.

“Breathe” introduces a middle-aged mother, Elena, has arachnophobia and her daughter would rather embrace spiders than exterminate.

“Rose is Red” shows that virginity is not a game for Rose, but when she’s finally ready, her period starts with a vengeance and her boyfriend finds out the hard way.

“Brotherhood” expresses that even gorillas can get sick of bananas, and for Bren, a journey into a lion’s den may be the change he was looking for.

“Road to Hell” takes you on a rather short journey through what could be known as your worst nightmare.
