Life as a New Hire, Warrior Prince, Volume VII

As always Cáel's plans do not quite go as planned...While doing a little midnight nude spelunking with Miyako, the Ninja, Cáel discovers a supernatural scout for the 7PH. Cáel and Miyako meet with SD Charlotte and find a dead Amazon sentry. Charlotte raises the alarm while Miyako and Cáel rushed off to defend the booby trapped entrance bridge to the camp.
Fighting both mundane and supernatural forces they successfully protect the booby trapped bridge with the help of the resurrected Queen Shammuramat of Assyria. Shammuramat and Cáel directly attack the last three vehicles in the attacking 7PH convoy with Miyako protecting them from counter attack.
They are successful in destroying the last three vehicles and trapping the convoy as the lead vehicles trigger the bobby trap and are destroyed. The Amazon defenses and counter attack destroy or rout the remains of the 700 man attacking force. Post attack Cáel successfully negotiated an agreement with Shammuramat to ally with The Host pending resolution of her conflict with the High Priestess and the Council.
At the Camp the Amazon children are at risk. FBI Special Agent Virginia Maddox coordinates an airlift of several hundred of the youngest Amazon girls and their Amazon guardians thru the intersession Javiera and her contacts in US Government. Once the airlift departed the older girls, instructors and protectors evacuate by ground to an undisclosed location. Virginia stays behind to interface with the Federal forces coming to investigate the battle. Cáel and the rest of his posse, with the addition of Aya and her war band, and Shammuramat, fly back to NY.
During the flight back Shammuramat gives Cáel the news Miyako is carrying his daughter. When Cáel arrives back to the news of strikes against the Ninja and E&S wants another face to face. Cáel is named head of the Amazon Diplomatic Section by St. Marie and learns he has two other children, a boy and a girl, on the way. Hana expresses her concerns about losing contact with her family's extensive petrochemical holdings throughout Asia and asks Cáel to find out what he can.
At the E&S meeting Cáel learns Temüjin has declared Cáel Magyarorszag es Erdely Hercege (Prince of Hungary and Transylvania) and a Prince of his People, part of Temüjin's family; then the bombshell fell. He learns war in Asia is being ignited by Temüjin, the first strike is Anthrax aimed at China's command and control. Temüjin has declared the Great Khanate, incorporating many former Mongol and Turk nations and peoples in the region and throwing off the shackles of China and ending 200 hundred years of extermination by the Han Chinese.
He realizes Temüjin's forces have taken control of Hana's assets in Asia, he quickly claims them as his property because Hana is his betrothed and wants it protected. In this way he shows E&S he has major assets at risk too and interest in the success of the Great Khanate.
While rushing back to Havenstone Cáel calls Hana and proposes marriage which she accepts understanding it has to do with protecting her family's interests in Asia.
A meeting is arranged between Javiera and US officials, including a China specialist, a Military Medical Specialist along with Great Britain's UN Rep (MI-6). After some initial asshole-ism by the senior US official it is resolved by Cáel's appointment as an Irish Diplomat and the asshole's arrest for striking a foreign government's Diplomat (Cáel.) The meeting with a mutual level of respect becomes productive, allowing Cáel to leave early to meet Hana.
Hana receives a House Ishara's heirloom necklace as Cáel's engagement gift rather than a ring plus she is now the 'presumptive' Princess of Hungary and Transylvania. A quick visit to inform and receive approval from Hana's father and one hot kiss later Cáel rushes off for a flight to Europe. He needs to find the lost Amazons of House Arinniti to fulfill Dot Ishara's wishes. In the meanwhile 'The Great Secret Societies' shift to an all-out war footing.
