What is spiritual maturity? What does it mean to grow in the knowledge of God’s love through Jesus Christ? These are questions we will explore together in “Lessons Learned – Small Steps to Healthy Christian Development.”

These are the lessons I’ve learned in my lifetime.  They are my testimonies about the power of God’s love to transform lives. But these aren’t just my stories, they’re also God’s stories. Through our relationship with God and through the miracles he performs in our lives each day, God is proclaiming his love, mercy, and grace through Jesus Christ. You see, God, too, has a story to tell, and through us, he is proclaiming that story to all of creation.

Lessons Learned will teach us what we’ve been called to do, what role we’ve been given as children of God. We’ll explore what it means to represent God, to be one of the business cards he is passing out to the world, advertising who he is and what he can do for us. We’ll examine what spiritual development looks like and how we can track our own spiritual progress. So what does it take to grow as a child of God? Let’s explore that question together.
