Shadows of St. Louis
It’s 1917 in East St. Louis, Illinois. The wealthy Goodwin family and their children have been living with a dangerous secret. Suddenly, their 16 year old Negro maid Emma Lynn starts asking questions no one wants to answer. Where did she come from? Where are her parents? Why does she look like a darker version of the Goodwin daughter? The love of a local white boy finally helps unveil the truth. But just when they are about to run away to find happiness together, race riots erupt and Emma Lynn gets caught in the middle. Now the Goodwins must make a choice to save her even if it means revealing to the world who they really are.

Ain't No Sunshine
Though it is against the law in 1960s Virginia, Stephen Phillips wants to marry his colored neighbor, Ruthie. Growing up in a physically abusive home, his love for Ruthie was the only thing that helped him survive. Instead of giving in to social and family prejudice, Stephen decides to fight for love. And it’s a fight that could lead to murder. Racism and revenge darken this psychological drama set against the backdrop of the segregated South.

Nothing Else Matters
When racism tears a school apart, can love put it back together?

As the senior star quarterback of Charleston Preparatory school in South Carolina, Scott Kincaid is poised for a spectacular professional career in sports. Though he and Reyna Lewis have been best friends for six years, between leading Charleston Prep to victory week after week, and seeking the approval of his tyrannical, racist mother, he doesn’t have time to develop anything more with her. But when his once perfect, healthy body is attacked by a debilitating disease, he reevaluates what is important in life. Just when he finally realizes he’s in love with his half black, half Puerto Rican best friend Reyna, a presidential election throws their small private school into racial turmoil. Now it’s up to Scott and Reyna to unify their school and their city. But it just might cost them their newfound relationship.
